White-out
It appears as if two feet, more or less, of snow fell in our area. It's hard to gauge because the winds are so intense and have caused tall snow drifts.
Ah well, winter snow is good for the New Hampshire environment and New Hampshire economy. It's a weekend and we don't NEED to go anywhere.
Tomie returned Wednesday night from a week in NYC. Good timing.

Tomie met Sonali Fry at the SCBWI Conference in NYC. Sonali won the World Fruitcake Competition - announced on this blog on December 28, 2012.
Of lesser importance, Sonali is Editorial Director of Little Simon at Simon & Schuster. This is the first time they had met.

Lin Oliver is the co-founder of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She just arrived in NYC for the SCBWI conference. She took Tomie to see "The Book of Mormon" on Broadway last night. Nice friend.
