Tomie Chronicled

Erin Fehlau and Chris Shepherd recently visited Tomie to interview him for the Thanksgiving Day episode of "New Hampshire Chronicle" on WMUR-TV, Manchester, NH.

They videotaped "Tomie dePaola: Then" in the Mugar Gallery at Colby-Sawyer College, and later they videotaped in Tomie's studio.

"Chronicle" episodes are often archived at WMUR's website for a brief period of time. The link will be posted on the blog if the episode is indeed archived.

Looking Good in a Hat

The second grade classes at The Geneva School in Winter Park, Florida, sent birthday cards. Rebecca decorated the front of her card with this drawing. I think it is supposed to be me.

The Other Famous Brady in New England

Brady Carlson taped an interview with Tomie this morning at the New Hampshire Public Radio studios in Concord, NH. Brady is the local host for "All Things Considered."

Brady told Tomie that his two-year-old son likes THE BIRDS OF BETHLEHEM. He calls it the "fireworks book."
