Owen surprised Tomie with his chicken feet "hands" just like young "Tommy" surprised his friends in the book TOM. Owen had even painted the chicken feet claws red just like "Tommy." (Click on the photo to get a better look at Tomie's surprise and Owen's delight.)

Owen attended an event hosted by the New Hampshire Humanities Council at the Concord City Auditorium on Saturday, April 18.
