We had dinner last night with Gina and Jarrett Krosoczka at the Restaurant at L.A. Burdick Chocolates in Walpole, NH. Here they are in the chocolate shop. The restaurant is a wonderful place to spend time with friends, and the chocolates are incredible. Tomie sent several gift boxes of chocolate penguins to his publisher, PENGUIN Young Readers Group, for Valentine's Day.Ken Burns, part owner of the restaurant, his wife Julie, and their daughter Olivia, were also at the restaurant and we were able to talk with them for a few minutes. Olivia is reading the "26 Fairmount Avenue" books. We don't see G and Jarrett enough!www.thejjkblog.blogspot.comwww.burdickchocolate.com
Tomie saw the traveling production of "Strega Nona" at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH, with hundreds of schoolchildren this past Tuesday. Here he is with the cast and tour manager.
