The New Hampshire Humanities Council honored 40 humanities champions on June 16, 2015. Each honoree had "made an indelible impression on the culture of our state" during the 40 year history of the NH Humanities Council. Among the honorees were: Tomie, author Dan Brown, documentarian/filmmaker Ken Burns, poet Donald Hall, radio personality Laura Knoy, humorist Rebecca Rule and former U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter.
